Who We Are
"As a former college resident of West End Atlanta, homelessness is something that our community witnessed on a daily basis. West End Initiative was created in 2021 to directly help the community I was living in."

West End Initiative provides basic resources for homeless individuals, hosts community engagement events, and holds merchandise sales to fundraise for future projects. West End Initiative is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization serving West End Atlanta and Greensboro, NC. Our team is made up of dedicated student volunteers spread across both cities, who are committed to making a positive influence in their communities. We believe that every small action can make a big difference, and we work tirelessly to ensure that our efforts have a lasting impact.

Civic engagement
Our organization is committed to community upliftment, and we believe that college students can play a pivotal role in driving positive change. We encourage civic engagement by providing opportunities for students to volunteer their time and skills.
From hosting community donation distributions, to neighborhood fall festivals, we aim to connect the student body, to the community at large.
Community Outreach
We believe that building strong relationships with our community is essential to our mission. Our community outreach programs are designed to engage and empower those in need and to foster a sense of community.
Fundraising
In order to support our programs and initiatives, we rely on the generous support of our donors and supporters. We accept monetary and physical donations. Occasionally, West End Initiative will offer limited edition merchandise to support fundraising efforts. All proceeds go directly towards supporting our mission.
